Bill of Materials (BoM)

Dedicated assembly and disassembly manufacturing engine integrated directly into its own Control Panel tab.

Control Panel & Operations

This module has its own "BoM" tab in the Control Panel. You can:

  • Add a new Bill of Materials.
  • Modify an existing BoM.
  • Run and produce the BoM (manufacture) by assembling or disassembling.

Inventory Postings & Quantity Rules

The BoM manages multi-line component tracking with automated posting rules:

  • The BoM has multiple transaction lines for all the inventory items it contains.
  • When running the BoM, all inventory items transactions are automatically posted for the BoM inventory as well as all its components.
  • There are restrictions limiting the number of units that may be manufactured depending on their availability. You can override this by permitting negative quantities.
